A Must-Have for Sensory Rooms, now fully mobile

Bubble tubes are an essential feature in sensory rooms and sensory corners. The combination of light, colour and continuously rising bubbles creates an engaging sensory experience and can contribute to a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

This bubble tube offers the same familiar sensory experience, but with one major advantage: it is fully mobile. Thanks to the integrated battery and wheeled base, the bubble tube is no longer restricted to a fixed location or power socket. Simply move it to whichever room it is needed in at that moment.

For example, the bubble tube can be used in a sensory room in the morning and later moved to a classroom, living area, bedroom or another room. This makes it ideal for care facilities, schools and other locations where the same sensory equipment is used in multiple rooms. Instead of bringing the user to the sensory room, you can bring the sensory experience directly to the user.

Light, colour and moving bubbles

The transparent bubble column features RGB+CCT LED lighting. The coloured light combined with the continuously rising air bubbles attracts attention and provides visual stimulation. The movement of the water and bubbles makes the bubble tube an atmospheric eye-catcher in any room.

Would you like to use the bubble tube interactively? The lighting can be controlled using the Nenko Interactive wireless 6-button switch panel (22009134) or the wireless 8-button switch panel (22011134). These accessories are available separately.

Up to approximately 15 hours of cordless use

The bubble tube features an integrated 12 V / 15 Ah gel battery. With a fully charged battery, the bubble tube can be used for approximately 15 hours under normal use. This means that no permanent connection to the mains is required during use.

The integrated voltage indicator displays the current battery voltage. In addition, the battery monitoring system automatically protects the battery against deep discharge. When the battery needs to be charged, simply connect the supplied charger to the charging socket.

Thanks to the four wheels, the bubble tube can easily be moved between different rooms. After moving the bubble tube, always position it securely on a flat surface and lock the wheels. Distilled water should be used to fill the bubble tube. Fill the tube to approximately 4 cm below the top edge. This sensory bubble tube holds approximately 20 litres of water.

The bubble unit no longer lights up. What should I do?

If your bubble unit no longer lights up, the LED lamp may be faulty. Replace the faulty lamp with a new LED lamp. We recommend keeping a spare lamp in stock. These lamps are available on our website under item number 82011.

Make sure that the LED lamp does not exceed 12V / AC 5W to prevent overloading the plug-in transformer. The LED lamp is set to slowly cycle through RGB colours.

The bubble unit no longer produces bubbles

Is the bubble unit no longer producing bubbles? Check the points below step by step. In many cases, the problem can be easily resolved.

Step 1 – Check the adapter
First, check that you are using the correct adapter.

The bubble unit only works with a suitable 12V / 20VA AC/AC adapter (item number 82017960).

Please note: using an incorrect adapter may cause the bubble unit to malfunction or become damaged. Damage caused by using an incorrect adapter is not covered by the warranty.

Using an incorrect adapter may cause the pump to burn out. Therefore, always check that you are using the original adapter with the correct technical specifications. Are you unsure whether you are using the correct adapter? Please contact Nenko.

Step 2 – Check the valve
Make sure the valve is fully open. If the valve is closed or partially closed, no bubbles can be produced.

Step 3 – Check the water level
Check that the bubble unit is filled correctly.

Fill the tube to a maximum of 40 mm (4 cm) below the top edge.

If the water level is too low, the bubble unit may not function correctly.

Step 4 – Check the tubes
Is the bubble unit still not working? Carefully open the cover of the bubble unit. The cover is secured with four screws.

Then check that the tubes are still properly connected:

the transparent tube connected to the air stone;
the transparent tube connected to the pump on the right-hand side.

One of these tubes may have become disconnected during use or transport.

Step 5 – Test the bubble unit again
Close the cover securely and test whether the bubble unit produces bubbles again.

How many litres of water does this bubble unit require?

This bubble unit requires approximately 20 litres of water. Water is not included.

How many chlorine tablets do I need for this bubble unit?

Fill the bubble unit with tap water and add pure chlorine tablets:

1 tablet of 1.8 grams per 10 litres of water (this may initially cause an unpleasant smell).
The active chlorine loses its effectiveness after approximately 1 to 3 months.

This bubble unit requires approximately 20 litres of water, so you will need 2 tablets of 1.8 grams.

How many containers of demineralised water do I need for the bubble unit?

Our containers of demineralised water contain 5 litres each.

This bubble unit requires approximately 20 litres of water, so you will need 4 containers of demineralised water.

Can accessories, such as balls, be placed inside the bubble unit?

No, we do not recommend this.

Please note: the balls are not suitable for the Budget bubble unit, small bubble units or bubble units with a diameter of Ø15 cm. We also recommend not using any independently purchased accessories inside the bubble unit.

Using unsuitable accessories may affect the operation of the bubble unit or cause damage.
