The Acrobat Swing is a unique and versatile tool specifically designed for sensory stimulation, motor training, and relaxation. Thanks to its different suspension options, the swing can be used in various ways, tailored to the needs of the user.
The Acrobat Swing is multifunctional and suitable for therapy, play, and relaxation. It can be suspended in different configurations, offering a wide range of uses:
Hammock: provides vestibular input and deep pressure for a calming effect
Three- or four-point suspension: encourages climbing through the layers, adding physical challenge
Tent-like space: creates a sheltered environment for rest and relaxation
This swing supports the development of body awareness, balance, and muscle control, making it a valuable addition to therapy rooms, sensory spaces, schools, and home use.
The Acrobat Swing is made of four layers of strong, four-way stretch Lycra®. This material is durable and flexible, with each layer offering a different level of resistance. This allows users to choose between relaxation or increased physical challenge.
Safety and installation
Always use in combination with the Southpaw suspension system with rotational device and the Southpaw suspension system with snap hook (both not included).
We strongly recommend having your ceiling checked by a structural engineer to ensure it can support the required working loads. Carefully read our safety and load capacity documents. Pay attention to other important safety aspects such as the layout of the therapy room, implementing a systematic inspection program for equipment, using appropriate mats, and applying personal protective measures.
Attach a Southpaw suspension system with snap hook (included) to the loop at the top of the swing and secure it to the suspension point. If needed, use a Southpaw Height Adjuster (13626652) to adjust the swing to the correct height. If the standard ceiling mounts are not compatible with your ceiling type, we recommend the Southpaw Ceiling Plate (2192652) as a suitable solution.
For rotational movement, a Southpaw Rotational Device (13738652) must always be used.
