What is MSE?
MSE = Multi-Sensory Environments
Sensory stimulation is an approach that allows for contact between the person with a restriction or dementia and carer.
Research has shown that people who use Sensory stimulation daily are less anxious, less apathetic, less depressed, less rebellious and less aggressive.
It is important that the approach can be carried out properly without disturbing elements from the outside. Only then can you really experience the relaxation of the experience-oriented products. Only then you can really experience the relaxation of the multi-sensory products.
For this reason, a separate room is usually designated within a healthcare facility, but this is not a necessity. Most important, the space should be atmospheric and intimate. Sensory stimulation can therefore also take place in a bathroom, living room, bedroom, wellness or garden.
